Announcement from the European Cheerleading Association (ECA):
The European Cheerleading Championships (ECC) of the European Cheerleading Association (ECA) will take place on July 6-7, 2024 in Wiesbaden.
The competition venue is the “Halle am Platz der Deutschen Einheit” as in the 2023 edition of the championships.
“We are happy to return to Wiesbaden in 2024”, commented Marc Watry (ECA Board member). “The venue is perfectly suited for the needs of our athletes and Wiesbaden is easily accessible from all over Europe. We are sure that the spectators and our members will enjoy the hospitality of Wiesbaden.”
Mayor Gert-Uwe Mende: „The “Halle am Platz der Deutschen Einheit“ has already proven to be the perfect place for the ECA European Cheerleading Championships. In the year 2023 144 groups with 1164 participants in 38 categories competed for the European crown. I could experience myself the fascination of this highly competitive sport which combines tumbling,
acrobatics and dance. Therefore, I am more than happy that the ECC will take place in Wiesbaden in 2024 again.”

The European Cheerleading Association was founded in 1994 and organized every year the annual European Cheerleading Championship since then.
